- Conjunt Monumental de la Pl. del Rei:
- One of the most interesting parts of this monumental complex is the archaeological site under the square which covers 4,000 square meters, with remains spanning the 1st century BC to the 17th century, which give us an insight into what the Roman colony and the Episcopal ensemble of Barcino were like.
- The museum also features the Palau Reial Major - the residence of the kings and queens of Aragon - which houses the Saló del Tinell, or Great Hall, the chapel of Santa Àgata, and the Casa Padellàs, a Gothic Renaissance mansion which was moved to the Plaça del Rei in the early 20th century.
- El Museu-Monestir de Pedralbes:
- The Museu-Monestir de Pedralbes of Barcelona is one of the finest examples of Catalan Gothic architecture. The ensemble includes the church and monastery, set out around a spacious three-tier cloister.
- It features a large collection of works of art and furniture.
- The visit shows what life and history was like for this monastic community, since it was founded in 1327.
- El Centre d'Interpretació del Park Güell:
- The Centre d'Interpretació del Park Güell of barcelona, located at the entrance to the park, is a visitor information point which provides access to the caretaker's lodge and also shows the different building systems used by Gaudí.
- The Centre features plans, models, photographs and audiovisuals which look in detail at the project, and provides information about the history of the park and the different walks around the park and its characteristic types of flora, fauna and physical geography.
- El Museu-Casa Verdaguer:
- The Museu-Casa Verdaguer is dedicated to the memory of Jacint Verdaguer, one of the most important Catalan authors of the 19th century and of history.
- The museum is set out on two floors of the Vil·la Joana, a 19th-century farmhouse where the poet lived, on the Collserola Ridge, close to Barcelona.
- Espai Santa Caterina:
- This archaeological site is located in the basement of the Santa Caterina Market and seeks to provide an insight into the development of this area of the city from prehistoric times to the present day.
- The excavations carried out beneath the Santa Caterina Market revealed the archaeological remains of the former Convent dels Predicadors (Convent of the Preachers).
- Centre d'interpretació del Call:
- This interpretation centre is located in a 14th-century building known as the House of the Rabbi or Alchemist of Barcelona, in the heart of the city’s old Jewish Quarter.
- The Centre d'Interpretació del Call showcases everyday objects from the 13th and 14th centuries, found during archaeological digs in the area: Khanukiyyes, dishes with Hebrew characters, and a facsimile of the illustrated manuscript, the Sarajevo Haggadah and two tombstones with Hebrew inscriptions.
- Refugi 307:
- One of the symbols of Barcelona's contemporary history.
- One of the air-raid shelter built at the height of the Spanish Civil War to protect the population from aerial attacks, this one has been preserved and is now open to visitors.
